About Dr. Miller

Dr. Alex Miller is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and brings decades of experience in the screening, detection, treatment, and reconstruction of skin cancer. He is widely recognized as an expert in complex skin cancer surgery and reconstructive procedures.

Dr. Miller is a nationally respected leader in the fields of Mohs surgery and skin cancer reconstruction. Throughout his distinguished career, he has contributed extensively to dermatologic education, research, and physician training.

He currently serves as Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of California, Irvine, and has held numerous leadership positions within the dermatology community. Dr. Miller was elected to the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Dermatology and previously served as President of both the California state dermatology society (CalDerm) and the American Society for Mohs Surgery (ASMS).

Dr. Miller is also the Course Director of the American Society for Mohs Surgery Annual Meeting programs, including Focus on Skin Cancer and The Closure Course. In addition, he authors a widely read monthly column in Dermatology World and has been consistently recognized in Best Doctors in America since the inception of the publication.
