About Dr. Kim
Jane S. Kim, M.D. is a board-certified and fellowship-trained oculofacial surgeon specializing in surgical and non-surgical procedures around the eyes, brows, forehead, and mid-face. She has particular expertise in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, revision eyelid surgery, and Asian blepharoplasty.
Dr. Kim is dedicated to providing highly personalized patient care with a meticulous focus on both functional and aesthetic outcomes. Her expertise includes surgery of the upper and mid-face with special attention to the delicate periocular region. She also specializes in non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments, including dermal fillers, neurotoxin injections, laser resurfacing, and chemical peels.
A Southern California native, Dr. Kim completed both her undergraduate and medical education at UCLA and the University of California, San Diego. During medical school, she completed a prestigious fellowship at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda and received multiple research awards for her work.
During her ophthalmology residency at Duke University, Dr. Kim was recognized for her research in corneal neurotization for neurotrophic keratopathy. She subsequently completed a highly competitive two-year ASOPRS fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Michigan, where she also served on faculty.
Dr. Kim has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed manuscripts, book chapters, and abstracts published in leading clinical journals. She regularly presents at national and international medical symposia.
